At this package private tour designed for the 2d/1N jungle trek and combination with one day white water rafting in Wampu river. You will have fantastic impression of the dense tropical rain forest of the Mt.Leuser National Park, see the Sumatran orangutans or other kind of the wildlife.
After the jungle trip, we’re heading to Kapras for some wild water rafting, get ready for another adventure and challenge with our professional team.
The Wampu River is a river in North Sumatra, Indonesia. It rises as the Lau Biang river in Karo Regency near Siberaya, flowing past Kabanjahe, Perbesi, Kuta Buluh, Marike and into Bohorok in Langkat Regency, where the river is known as the Wampu. It flows past Stabat and Tanjung Langkat before emptying into the Strait of Malacca. The Bohorok River is a tributary of the Wampu.

Day 1 :
Pick up from Medan hotel/airport, journey four hours to BukitLawang by air – conditioner car, relax remaining the day, accommodation. If you have time you could visit the Bat cave or you can do tour village by Tuk-tuk.
Day 2 :
The jungle tours will begin after breakfast around 9.00 am, small briefing before entrance the jungle. Walking for about 5 -6 hours to search the animals together and if we are lucky we could see animals such us sumatran orangutan( pongo abelii ), thomas leaf-monkey, silver leaf-monkey, siamang, white-handed gibbon, fig-tailed macaque, water monitor, sumatran peacock, red giant flying squirrel, malayan giant squirrel, hornbill, etc. Our expert guide will explain you about flora and fauna.
At 13.00 we stop for lunch, we have fried rice and for the desserts we have fruits such us pineapple, watermelon, banana, orange and passion fruit.
After lunch continue the tours spotting orangutan or other animals while heading to the campsite. Upon arrival at the campsite you can go to the river for a swim or relax while enjoying tea or coffee. After dinner you can playing cards or make campfire with the team. If the weather is good we can go fishing in the river. We spent the night in the jungle, an amazing experience.
Day 3 :
After breakfast we explore the area around the campsite for 2-3 hours. Or if you prefer you can stay at the riverside to observe the wildlife. There’s also a nice waterfall we can visit. We will have noodle soup and fruit salad jungle style for lunch. After our lunch we will raft back to the hotel by the traditional tube rafting. Rest of the day free for leisure.
Day 4 :
After breakfast at 8:30am our expert guide will pick up you at the hotel, it’s a 3 hour off road trip to the starting point of the rafting at Kapras. Our team will prepare the boat and equipment for the rafting. Before you leave you will get a safety briefing. After 20 minutes we pause at the hot spring in the river Wampu. We continue rafting until lunch. We will have lunch at the waterfall, before rafting to the end point at Bohorok. The total rafting activity takes about 3-4 hours. After white water rafting finish around 3pm, at the End point you can change your dry clothes and we will transfer you back to Medan hotel/airport by private air-con car. And the crew will go back to Bukit lawang.
English speaking guide, all transport, two nights in the hotel with air-con and hot shower include breakfast, permits for the jungle, meals and fruits in the jungle, water, blanket, tent, crew, rafting equipment, traditional tube rafting and white water rafting.
