4D/3N ORANGUTANS – RAFFLESIA & GIBBON WATCHING TOURS

4D/3N BUKIT LAWANG – BATU KATAK.

We offer you in this private package tour 2D/1N jungle trekking and tube rafting in Bukit lawang to see wildlife in Gunung Leuser National Park and our icon is Orangutan which is only found in Sumatra and Borneo and commonly seen in this area and you can enjoyed your night experience in the jungle. Afterwards we visit another village named Batu Katak around 17 km from Bukit lawang and we will reach this place late afternoon by motor bike or car and stay a night in guest house in this place, next day we will start the activities in morning for Gibbon watching in private jungle or in the edge of National Park and return to guest house for lunch afterwards. After lunch finish we go to see Rafflesia ( biggest flower in the world ) if we are lucky we could see the blooming flower in National Park. Afterwards we walk back to the river return to guest house by traditional tube rafting.

ITINERARY

Day 1.

Pick up from airport or hotel in Medan journey 4 -5 hours to Bukit lawang relax remaining the day at hotel. If you have time you could visit the Bat cave or you can do tour village by Tuk-tuk.

Day 2.

Our expert guide will pickup you after your breakfast at the hotel at 9am to start 2D/2N jungle trek, before enter National Park the guide will give you briefing about the regulation of National Park, walk for 5-6 hours to spotting wildlife and he will explain to you about flora and fauna if we are lucky we could see the animals such as Sumatran orangutan, Thomas leaf monkey, long tail macaque, pig tail macaque, white handed gibbon, great argus phesant, or horn bill and other animals which is commonly seen in this area, our guide will follow your speed level and we make regularly break. Mid day guide will select place for lunch with fried rice + egg + chicken and also we have some tropical fruits for the desserts (pineapple, watermelon, bananas, oranges and passion fruit), after lunch finish we continue trekking towards to the campsite, mid afternoon we will reach the camp site in the bank of Bohorok river. Enjoy the afternoon with hot tea or coffee+biscuit, or swimming in the river while waiting for dinner with wonderful view of jungle.

Day 3.

After breakfast (toast + egg + cheese + cucumber and tomatoes)we continue 2-3 hours trekking or we can do relaxing at the campsite and visit the waterfall. After lunch(noodle soup) and fruits salad jungle style we will pack up the stuff and we will go back to the village by traditional tube rafting. After we arrived you could change your dry clothes and we  go to Batu Katak village about 30 – 40 minute by motor bike and stay night in guest house.

Day 4.

Start gibbon watching after breakfast at 9 am in private jungle in edge of National Park mid day return to guest house for lunch. After lunch finish we walk throug the privat jungle for about 2 hours to enter the National Park to see the biggest flower in the world RAFFLESIA if we are lucky we can see the blooming flower, afterwards we walk back to the river to go back to the guesthouse by traditional tube rafting. The tour will be End around 3pm, pack up all of your stuff and we will transfer you back to Medan hotel/airport for about 4-5 hours by privat air-con car.
